Throughout my undergraduate studies at the University of Chittagong, I engaged in numerous laboratory experiments as an integral component of my coursework. Below, I have highlighted some of the pertinent laboratory work I participated in and the learnings from those lab courses.
Some of the courses and learning outcomes from the courses are outlined below:
Laboratory Tasks
Operated IR spectrometer to characterize complexes
Operated UV spectrometer to determine unknown concentration of metal
Performed Thin-Layer Chromatography to separate organic mixtures
tris (en) nickel (II) chloride complex
In this experiment I have synthesized tris (en) nickel (II) chloride and determined their nickel content using titrimetric and Spectroscopic techniques.
IR spectra of tris (en) nickel (II) chloride complex
Calibration curve from the UV spectra to calculate the Nickel Content
Spectroscopic determination of concentration of Chromium trace level using 1,5-diphenyl carbohydrazide
